Local bank gets into the spirit of holidays, Civil War
Pacific West Bank got into the Civil War fever and has kicked off a food drive that challenges football fans of Oregon State University and the University of Oregon to bring in the most donated canned and other non-perishable food to support local food banks.
The “Civil War Food Bank Challenge” began on Thanksgiving and ends Dec. 18.
Food donations can be dropped off at either Pacific West Bank branch in West Linn or Lake Oswego. Fans that donate a box or more of food will get a free limited edition “Civil War Food Bank Challenge” long-sleeve T-shirt in their choice of school colors.
The fans that donate the most food will be recognized on Dec. 24 online at www.bankpacificwest.com and in a special announcement in the West Linn Tidings and Lake Oswego Review.
Pacific West Bank, a community bank, is headquartered in West Linn and also has a branch in Lake Oswego.
